Prospective students wishing to get admission at NUCS must apply through the Myanmar Education System (MES), a platform established by the Ministry of Education under the National Unity Government and administered by the University Admissions Screening Board. Applications must be submitted during officially announced admission periods. These announcements will be made available via the NUCS website, Facebook page, and Telegram channels.
The admission requirements for NUCS are as follows:
- B.C.Sc. (4 years)
- B.S.Tech (4 years)
(Preferred major must be chosen in the Second Year.)
- Those who have obtained a BECA examination completion certificate and achieved at least two Grade B passes and one Grade C+ pass in English, Mathematics, and Physics.
- Those who passed the University Entrance Examination before 2021, with a combined score of 180 or above in English, Mathematics, and Physics.
- Those who have successfully completed basic education under the Border Area/Ethnic Education Program.
- Those who have passed GED, IGCSE, SAT, or ACT examinations.
(For items 1 to 3, applicants must have passed a subject combination that includes Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics.)
- Academic transcripts or Mark certificates
- Proof of participation in the Civil Disobedience Movement (CDM) or a personal declaration
- Evidence of involvement in any form of revolution (if available)
